송지수 박사(서울치대병원 소아치과 임상강사)가 세계장애인치과학회 총회와 함께 열린 미국장애인치과학회 학술대회서 학술적으로 의미 있는 성과를 거뒀다.

23rd International Association for Disability and Oral Health(iADH) Congress(세계장애인치과학회 총회)와 Special Care Dentistry Association 28th Annual Meeting(미국장애인치과학회 학술대회)이 지난달 14~17일 미국 시카고 Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel서 진행됐다. 이번 학술대회서 송 박사는 ‘The impact of dental treatment under general anesthesia and intravenous sedation in pediatric healthy and special needs patients’를 주제로 발표에 나서 최우수 포스터 발표상을 수상했다.

iADH는 전 세계 장애인치과를 대표하는 국제적인 조직이다. 1971년 창설 이후 2년에 한 번씩 학술대회를 개최하며 세계 각국에서 각 나라의 장애인치과를 대표하는 치과의사들이 학술적인 교류를 이어갈 수 있도록 노력해오고 있다.
